Joseph Marshall was baptised on 6th October 1687 at Harpenden in Hertfordshire, son of Philip and Elizabeth Marshall. In 1697 Joseph was referred to in his aunt Mary Marshall's will.

It is possible that Joseph was the same Joseph Marshall who married a Sarah and was having children at Kimpton and Luton between 1716 and 1730. However, there is at least one other candidate who could be that Joseph, as discussed on that page.
