Phebe ___. She could have been a daughter of Caleb and Phebe Smith of Goshen, NY, who had nine children, among them a son Timothy and a daughter Phebe. Caleb Smith's will was made Dec. 27, 1731, and was probated April 22, 1734. Phebe ___ Roe might, alternatively, have been a daughter of Simon Rumsey and his wife Phebe of Goshen; he died early in 1753. Jonas and Phebe Roe resided in Warwick Township, Orange County, NY. His will, dated Jan 17, 1798, at Florida, NY, was proved 12 April 1798. His wife was not mentioned in the will indicating that she was probably deceased.
