15: Jonas(4) Roe (son of Nathaniel), born about 1727, probably in Flushing, NY; he was taken to Orange County, NY with his family about 1730. . . . Jonas and Phebe Roe resided in Warwick Township, Orange County, NY. His will, dated Jan 17, 1798, at Florida, NY, was proved 12 April 1798. His wife was not mentioned in the will indicating that she was probably deceased. He rendered service in the Revolution for which he was entitled to land bounty rights.
