    ! 1. Book--Richardson,Hartley,Arrender,and Related Families. This book states "Phebe's age was given in the Census of 1850 as 35 years old. When compared with her marriage record, it would indicate that she was only twelve years old when married. (Note that her Brother James asserts that she is over 18 years old.) It is possible that the Census record of 1850 is in error but if she were born in MS. (as she states) she must have been born in 1815 or later because her next older sister states that she was born in Tenn. in 1814."
