  12.   According to a letter from the War Department, The Adjutant General's Office, dated October 3, 1930:
    The records show that Peter A. Wrenn, Co.C., 45th, North Carolina Infantry, C.S.A., enlisted February 22, 1862, at Greensboro.
    Muster roll Jan. & Feb. 1865 shows him present, a Private. Prisoner of War records show that he was surrendered and paroled April 9, 1865, at Appomattox, C.H., Va., a Private.
    His name appears on Roll of Honor of the Company. County, Guilford. Age 16. A substitute.
