From the book "The Ancestors and Descendants of John Weyandt of Harrison county, Ohio" written by Eric E. Johnson in January 2001:

  Peter and Maria moved to Bedford County, Pennsylvania, after 1784, and they settled in Milford Township.  In 1795 this township became part of Somerset County when it was erected.  Peter is listed in the 1796 tax list for Milford Township.
  Peter served in the Revolutionary War in Captain Daniel Clapsadle's Company of the 1st Battalion of the Washington County, Maryland militia.  He was a private in the 7th Class.  His brother John is listed in the 8th Class.  Peter is buried in the New Centerville Cemetery, Milford Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
  Peter and Maria had eleven children.
