BURIAL: Fissel's Church Cemetery; Shrewsbury Twp., York, PA; records in the Historical Society of York Co., PA. DEATH: Affidavits of Death, York Archives, York, PA, Book 4, p 368. Informant was Noah Mummert and informatin was given on 5 Dec 1887. OBITUARY: Obituary dated 10 Dec 1887 in Hanover Herald giving death and son, Noah. Originally it was thought that he died of poison, possibly self-induced, but a coroner finally ruled death by natural causes. OCCUPATION: Laborer in the obituary and 1850 census and farmer in the 1870 and 1880 census.
