  10. "Died in the Woods. Mr Heckert, of Scott township, about 70 years of age, was found lying dead between two logs in athe woods near his house Tuesday morning (Oct. 25). He left the house Sunday evening (Oct. 23) to go after the cows, and, not returning, the family commenced a search for him, but the body was not found until Tuesday morning, Death probably resulted from heart disease."
