Peter did not name his children in his will made 22 August, 1756, and probated 24 March 1757. His widow, Drusilla Farley, made her will 4 December, 1784; probated 25, July, 1793; witnessed by Robert Standfield, Daniel Marshall, and Daniel Farley. She named the following children: Matthew Farley, Jeremiah Farley, Elizabeth Ellington.

Will of Peter Farley
The Will of Peter Farley, made 22 August 1756. Probated 24 March 1757. "Land in Chesterfield . . . to be equally divided between two sons and as they come of age, the eldest to have his first choice and the next Eldest to have his Choice - either the remainder of the land in Chesterfield County or the Land whereon I now live and the Youngest Son to have that piece of land left in Chesterfield or the land and Plantation whereon I now live." All the remaining estate was to go to his wife, (whom he did not name) to be for her support and that of his children. Executors: wife and her brother Henry Turpin and Joseph Farley, Jr. Witnesses: Peter Irby

At a court held for Amelia County, the 24th day of March 1757 This last will and Testament of Peter Farley was presented by Drusilla Farley Relict of the said Peter and Joseph Farley who made oath thereto and proved by the Oaths of Peter Irby, John Farley Thompson, and Henry Farley witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
