PETE CALVIN COBLE

GRAHAM - Pete Calvin Coble, 56, of Route 3, Graham, died yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock at his residence after seven years of failing health and six weeks of critical illness.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Peter Calvin Coble and Edith Isley Coble, and was a member of Mount Hermon Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs Martha Ann Steele Coble of the hone, one daughter, Mrs Don Boggs, Jr of Route 3, Graham; one son, Calvin Coble of the home; three sisters, Mrs Dee Bright of Route 1, Graham, Mrs Clyde Allen of Route 2, Snow Camp, and Mrs Arthur Thompson of Route 1, Graham; five brothers, Earl Coble of Burlington; June Coble, Frank Coble, and A M Coble, all of Route 2, Snow Camp, and T E Coble of Swepsonville; and two grandchildren.

Final rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at Mount Hermon Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body was taken to the residence this afternoon to remain until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
