Person:Persis Muzzy (1)

Persis Catherine Muzzy, daughter of Rev. Addison Muzzy and Laura Ann Pease was born in 1847 in Trumbul Co., OH and died in Ft. Morgan, CO in 1920 where she was living with her son, Samuel McArthur Wright.

This line of the Muzzy Family traces back to John Muzzy (m. Lydia) of Massachussets in the late 17th Century. Later descendants settled in New Hampshire and New York. The American patriarch of the Pease Family is Robert Pease who emigrated from England to Salem, Massachusetts about 1635.

The photograph below is of Persis Catherine Muzzy. It was taken about 1919 at the farm of Robert John Graham in Davis Creek, CA. Persis would have been in her 70s at the time.
