  6. Perl Phillips of Plum Station Dies

    Perl Phillips died yesterday evening at his residence at Plum Station after a short illness from catarrh. He has been confined to his bed only for the past week and his death was a great shock to his family as well as to his many friends.
    He was an engineer at the Crowell mill near Plum Station. He leaves a wife and two little children and a father and mother and sister, all of whom live at Plum. He was 27 years of age.
    The funeral services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock from the W.R. Whiteside undertaking parlors and interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Rev. Hopkins will conduct the services.

    The funeral for Perl Phillips, who died Saturday at his home near Plum station, was held yesterday afternoon. The services were held at Whiteside's undertaking parlors and internment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Rev. W.H. Hopkins conducted the services.
