Personal History

Peder was added to nFS through the extraction program. Since, Dorothy was living with her sister, Esther, in 1920 (according to census), it seems likely that her parents were deceased. This assumption is leading me to investigate the death certificate of Peder Dahl on 27 Feb 1919 in Brown, MN and the death certificate of Ingeborg Dahl on 20 May 1913 in Hennepin, MN. I found he and his wife in the 1900 census in Minneapolis (Ancestry Image 13/32 of Ward 11, District 121). He was shown as a civil engineer. He immigrated in 1882, one year after getting married.
