Pearle A. Pothorski, age 91 of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday afternoon September 11, 2012 in her home. A daughter of the late Daniel and Hestella Colar Wright, she was born March 24, 1921 in Loudon Township, Carroll County. Pearle was a member of the Kilgore United Methodist Church. She had many hobbies and among them were going to square dances, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, John (Betty) Pothorski of Norwalk, Ohio, Ron (Beverly) Pothorski of Carrollton, Bob Pothorski of London, Ohio; two daughters, Patti Pothorski of Kilgore and Barbara Hartman of Stow, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Merle; two brothers, Wylie and Walter; and sister, Viola.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kilgore United Methodist Church with Rev. Kimberly Arbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday in the church from noon till the time of the service. Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home directing.
