[edit] ====================================Buffalo News, 18 Aug 1997: PAULINE M. DOWNS Pauline M. Downs, formerly of Willow Avenue, died Friday (Aug. 15, 1997) in Montclair (N.J.) Community Hospital after a brief illness. She was 94. The former Pauline Maule was born in Austria and moved to Niagara Falls as an infant. She moved to New Jersey in 1996. Mrs. Downs was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niagara Falls and its Altar and Rosary Society, the Bishop's Committee and Mothers Club. Her husband, Herbert R. Downs, died in 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Downs of Montclair, and a sister, Jennie Saulino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered ... Tuesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2486 Grand Ave., with prayers at 11 in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. References
