Pauline Knapp Weds

Miss Beryl Knapp of Detroit, Mich is announcing the marriage of her sister, Miss Pauline Wllba Knapp, a former resident of Alton, and Raymond J. Ray of Detroit, Mich. Announcements of her wedding which took place July at. St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral in Detroit. , were received here yesterday. Mrs. Ray is a daughter of the late Mrs. Cora E. Le Claire, who before her removal to Detroit lived In Alton. She was graduated from the Detroit Teachers College and for the past few years has been an Instructor in the Detroit schools. Mr. Ray is a graduate of the University of Detroit. The couple will make their home n Detroit. Both Mrs. Ray and her sister Miss Knapp, are well known in Alton.
