Paul H. Krumrine Jr., of Hanover, entered into Heavenly rest July 17, shortly before his beloved wife of 57 years, Evelyn Walter Krumrine.
Born August 12, 1921, in Westminster, MD, he was the son of the late Paul H. Sr. and Gertie Harner Krumrine.
Mr. Krumrine was a member of St. Bartholomew's United Church, ELCA of Hanover, The Benevolent And Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 763 in Hanover, The Hanover V.F.W. Post 2506, and the Harold H. Bair Post 14 American Legion in Hanover. He retired from the Emeco Furniture Company after 25 years employed, and had also farmed all his life. Mr. Krumrine was a veteran of the United States Army having served in The European Theater with the 243rd Combat Engineers during World War II.
He is survived by one son, Paul H. Krumrine III of Hanover; three grandchildren; one brother, Claude Krumrine of Westminster, MD; two sisters, Sarah Bollinger of Littlestown and Evelyn Dickensheets of Hanover
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Nevin Krumrine, John Krumrine, and Melvin Krumrine, and three sisters, Ruthetta Sponseller, Mabel Fuhrman, and Arlene Worley.
Interment, with military honors, was provided by The Hanover Allied Veterans Burial Detail.
