Kimmell Paul W, 81, R. 1, Wawaka, died Oct. 12, 1987 in McCray Hospital. Born in Jefferson Twp to John H. and Emma Ward Kimmell, he lived in the Noble County area for 65 years, including 51 years in the Kimmell homestead in Brimfield. April 1, 1928 he married V. Pauline Grunden. He was a retired farmer, a truck driver for Hipskind Asphalt of Fort Wayne for ten years and a school bus driver in Rome City for 14 years. He was also a past member of Moose Lodge 1301, Kendallville, Brimfield Lion’s Club, and Teamsters Union Local 414, Fort Wayne. He is survived by three sons, Cecil W., Columbia City, Frank, Columbia City, and John, Rome City; eight daughters, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Smith, Kendallville, Mrs. Don (Bea) Bahls, Kendallville, Mrs. Richard (Lavorna) Fulk, Rome City, Mrs. Rex (Phyllis) Cole, Albion, Mrs. Jay (Ola) Crain, Elkhart, Mrs. Jerry (Sandra) Groves, Albion, Mrs. Ron (Sharon) Karlstadt, Bryan, Ohio, and Gloria Jean Kimmell, Wawaka; 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Friday at Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial, Orange Cemetery. + 10-12-1987
