Patricia Jane Scholes, 78, of Columbia died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at The Williamsburg.
Mrs. Scholes was born March 23, 1923, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Frank and Grace Mortimer Snyder.
She married Robert Scholes.
She moved to Columbia in 1978 from Pilot Grove. She was a secretary at the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Agriculture Department of Food Science and Nutrition from 1978 to 1986. She was active in several Christian churches.
Survivors include two sons, Marc Scholes of Columbia and Richard Scholes of St. Louis; a daughter, Roberta Scholes of Columbia; and two grandchildren.
