    "Owden was agent for the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement in 1968. He is an accountant and graduate of Tyler High School, Tyler Junior College and Southern Methodist University. During his career with the I.R.S., he was president of the National Association of Internal Revenue Service Employees, 1957 - 1958.
