Otis Jr. served in the army five years and was a guard at the execution of Major Andre. Married Mary Patrick. One of Otis Jr.'s sons, Seymour Parker Ensign, made the following affidavit concerning his grandfather Otis Ensign, "He was killed in Wyoming, Pa. 1775. Otis jr. after his father's death, went to live with his Uncle Ezekiel at Stillwater, N.Y. Ezekiel was a Tory. He denounced my father who ran away and enlisted in the Army of the Revolution and served five years. He was with Washington at the crossing of the Delaware and at Valley Forge. He was in command of the guard at the execution of Major Andre."
