Marriage to James N Angle on 19 May 1889 in Straitsville, Ohio. (Stalesville?). They had one daughter, Nellie May. Orpha filed for divorce in Saginaw County, Michigan on 24 Sep 1914, claiming desertion. It was never finalized. James Angle passed in 1915, a bigamist, as he had married the widow, Rosannah (Graham) Smallwood, in Hocking County, Ohio on 25 Jul 1913.
Marriage to James Douglas Duncan on 2 Jun 1919 in Saginaw, Michigan. He passed in 1925.
Marriage to James William Knights, her daughters husbands older brother, two months after Nellie’s marriage to Roland Knights, on 14 Aug 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. They divorced/separated by 1930. On the census, James was “divorced” in Saginaw, Orpha was “widowed” in Columbus, Ohio. A record has not been found, leading me to believe the divorce was finalized in Ohio, or possibly never filed. She was listed as the Orpha Angle (widow) in a 1929 directory.
Orpha moved to Sarasota, Florida, which is where her granddaughter, Orpha (Angle) Long lived. Her daughter Nellie was also down there, as they both passed there in 1954. Nellie passed just 5 months after her mother.
