Oriole SPRACKLING was born July 9, 1887 in Ohio, the daughter of William J. SPRACKLING born in England and Catherine BELL born in Ohio. She married about 1907 Clarence James AHLMAN, the son of Fred AHLMAN and Mary E. SNYDER, and they had seven children. Clarence died November 15, 1959 in Mentor, Lake county, Ohio at age 69. Oriole died January 19, 1980 in San Clemente, Orange county, California at age 92. Both were buried in Mentor Municipal Cemetery.
THEIR CHILDREN:
* William C. AHLMAN died June 17, 1957 in Mentor, Lake county, Ohio at age 46.
* Jean and husband John Boest TEGARTY lived in San Clemente, California and after John died in 1985 Jean married again. Her name was Jean RICHMOND when she died a widow Nov. 7, 2003 at a nursing home in Chardon, Ohio at age 88.
*Robert S. AHLMAN born May 22, 1909 in OH died May 1987. His wife, Marybelle, born March 5, 1907, died Feb 11, 1981- both of Wading River, Suffolk co., NY. Both buried in Mentor Cem.
* James Frederick AHLMAN born April 19, 1917 in Cleveland, died April 11, 2012, at Starkey Place Assisted Living in Painesville at age 94. Wife, Ann (Neelsen) Ahlman born 1921, died May 7, 1996. Both buried in Mentor Cemetery.
* John D. AHLMAN born June 15, 1919 in OH, died Feb. 29, 1996 in Sun City, Maricopa co., Arizona. WW2 veteran enlisted Jan 15, 1942 in US Army.
* Richard T. AHLMAN born March 19, 1923 (Marjorie's twin brother) died Feb. 18, 2001 in San Clemente, Orange county, California at age 77.
* Mrs. Donald (Marjorie "Marj") COLE was living at Wesleyan Village, Elyria, Ohio in March 203 at age 90. The widow of Ensign Wm Albert Cole, Garry Andrews and Donald D. Cole.
