Obituary

Orda Henry, 88, Breckenridge, MO, died on Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at his home.

Orda was born on April 23, 1909, in Excelsior Springs, MO. He lived in Butler, MO, from 1931 to 1948, then moved to the farm south of Breckenridge. He graduated from New York High School in 1927. He was a retired farmer and stockman. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Arno.

He married Alma Stone on Jan. 23, 1931, in Liberty, MO. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his son, Dean of Cowgill, MO; his daughter, Sammie Sue Heavner of Liberty; a brother, Lavern of Hamilton, MO; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral was held on Jan. 5 at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Church.
