    "254. Oliver4 Treat (Prudence3 Chester, Sarah2, Gov. Thomas1), born 31 May 1705 in Wethersfield (Barbour citing VR 1:19); and died 18 October 1785, at age 81 (Wethersfield First Congregational Church Records, slip index citing 2:298); … Oliver Treat's widow Damaris refused administration on 3 January 1786. The inventory, taken on 3 February 1786 by A. Robbins and Josiah Willard, came to £988:16:02½. The heirs agreed to a distribution of the real estate. Charles Treat received part of the homelot, barn and dwelling house as well as other plot of land for meadow or pasture. John Treat received part of the homelot as well as meadow and pasture land. Prudence Deming received land in Granville, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts, as well as meadow land in German Flats. Abigail Treat received land in Little Plain, the Sandhouse, and the Commons. Eunice Tryon received meadow land at German Flats. The agreement was signed on 22 November 1786 by Damaris Treat, Charles Treat, John Treat, Abigail Treat, Moses Tryon, Eunice Tryon, James Treat, John Deming and Prudence Deming; signatures were attested in Wethersfield on 22 November 1786. The signature of James Treat of Wethersfield was acknowledged in New London, New London County, Connecticut, on 27 Nov 1786 and those of John Deming and Prudence Deming acknowledged in Sandisfield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, on 15 January 1787 (Hartford Probate District, Connecticut Estate Files, docket no. 5505)."
