BIOGRAPHY: Wed, 13 Feb 2008 17:15:55 -0800 From: "Mim Aline" Subject: Re: Oliver Knight To: "William Knight" <williamknight57@yahoo.com> Oliver Knight died 11 Oct 1849. He married first Philinda M. Eddy on 25 Oct 1832 and had at least two sons and one daughter, Byron Eddy Knight, born 17 Jun 1836, died 5 Jun 1843, buried in Mt. Ida Cemetery, Troy, NY., another son, name and birth unknown, and a daughter, Cynthia Day Knight, born 1843. Philinda died and Oliver married Maria Griffith 9 Apr 1848. Maria died 19 Nov 1847 according to the headstone in Mt Ida Cemetery, which makes one of these dates incorrect. Cynthia went to live with her aunt, Mary Ann (Eddy) Day in Minnesota and married around 1860 Lysander Patterson Foster. They had six children. Cynthia died 12 Feb 1893 in Hennepin Co., Minnesota and is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.
