In Utica, Wis., Feb. 15, 1883, at the residence of his son, Oliver Coon, in the 87th year of his age. His last illness was brief. 'He died as a good man dieth.' and 'was gathered unto his fathers,' beloved by all who knew him. In peace with all men he lived and died, and sleeps in Jesus, awaiting the better resurrection. His funeral took place Sabbath day, Feb. 17th. Discourse from Heb. 11: 38, first clause, 'Of whom the world was not worthy.' V. H.
