Oliver M. Conklin, son of Daniel and Priscilla C. Conkling was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cemetery records give his birth date as 15 March 1825. He worked with his father as a bricklayer and later practiced as an attorney. His wife’s name was Mary. Oliver died of cholera on 10 October 1866 in Cincinnati. He is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. His widow married J.B. Compton on 25 August 1878. Mary died at the County Home in Hamilton County on 26 January 1923. She is buried with both husbands at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.
