OCTAVIO MARQUEZ JR.
Octavio Marquez Jr., 64, of Brownsville, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1995, at his residence. He had been a longtime Brownsville resident and had worked for the Cameron County Jail for more than 15 years before retiring. He was a member of the Portway Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a sister, Guadalupe Marquez on Nov. 3, 1992. He is survived by his wife, Maria N. Marquez of Brownsville; a son, Juan Jose Marquez of Brownsville; three daughters, Elida, Rosemary and Sara E. Marquez, all of Brownsville; two brothers, Oscar Marquez and Jose A. Villarreal, both of Brownsville, and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Villa Nueva Cemetery with Patrick G. Trobaugh officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Delta Funeral Directors, 13th and East Harrison streets.
