White, DICTIONNAIRE GENEALOGIQUE DES FAMILLES ACADIENNES; 1636-1714; Moncton, New Brunswick, Centre d'Etudes Acadiennes, 1999, 2 vols.; p. 513; own copy. #5: Noel DOIRON, born at Les Mines around 1684, son of Jean & Marie-Anne CANOL, married at Boston around 1705 (rehabilitated at Port Royal on 24 Sep 1706) to Marie HENRY, daughter of Robert & Marie-Madeleine GODIN. He was on the 1752 (LaRoque census, age 70 years. He died (according to S.A. WHITE) at sea on 13 Dec 1758 in the sinking of the "Duke William" during the crossing to France.

!BIRTH-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-RESIDENCES: Arsenault, Histoire et Genealogie, p. 1375 (Pisiguit), father's name spelled DOUARON. Says he settled at Cobequid. His own entry on p. 1482 (Cobequid). He was at Pointe-Prime, Ile Saint-Jean, in 1752. His grandson Jean-Baptiste, born in 1736, son of Louis-Mathieu DOIRON, lived with him.

A footnote in Arenault, H&G, p. 1482 (Cobequid) says that there is a note by the missionary in the register of his marriage to Marie HENRY at Port Royal on 24 Sep 1706. "Lesquels ont prtendu avoir contract a Boston, ou ils taient prisonniers, ce que j'ai rhabilit en ce jour." They were married already in Boston, where they were prisoners, and it was reconsecrated in 1706 in Acadia.
