The census records present a puzzlement for the wife or wives of Noah Jackson that needs more research. Find-a-Grave website has that Noah's wife Mary Jane died in 1838 at the age of 29 years. This info from the gravestone inscription. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=62202196

In the 1850, 1870 and 1880 censuses, Noah has an apparent second wife named Jane E. It would be good to find a marriage record.

I have found the burial record of Jane E. Bunting, widow of Noah Jackson. This would tie in with the niece in 1880 census record.
