    Capt. Noah Fearing, s/o Israel, b. 10 Feb 1731/2, d. aft. Dec 1776 and before 18 Apr 1788 [when his wife died, "widow of Noah Fearing"], m. 22 Jan 1756 Mary Nye.
    [Note: the alleged death record of widow of Noah Fearing has not been located. The caption of her gravestone photo gives an inscription that says "wife", not widow (not directly readable from photo). A deed Vol. 68, p. 66 is acknowledged by witness (son Paul) in 1788 "that he saw Noah Fearing Esq'r the granter (who hath absented him self and is not to be found in the Commonwealth) sign, seal and deliver this Instrument".
