Noah W. Crumrine, b. 14 Jan. 1833 in Darke Co., O., d. 11 Jan. 1916 m. 21 Jan. 1858, Elizabeth Marquis, b. 28 May 1838, d. 2 May 1930 Married in Darke Co., O. She the daughter of William K. Marquis (Darke Co. land deed record book G2, p.469). Both are buried in Vernon cemetery in Wabash Co., Ind. Noah was an Elder (minister) of the German Baptist Church (Church of the Brethren). The "History of the Church of the Brethren in Indiana" published in 1917, indicates that Noah had been a minister over 50 yrs. and a Bishop (Elder) more than 40 yrs.
