Nicolas was on the 1759 list of arrivals at St-Malo, age 52 years (sic).

Born 1704, a "caboteur" [coastal seaman?], Nicolas married 1st around 1732 to Marguerite BROSSARD; six children. He married 2nd around 1752 to Anne SAMSON (no parents listed); four children. And 3rd time at St. Servan of St. Malo on 8 Jan 1760 to Euphrosine LABAUVE (widow of Jacques CONVENANCE). Nicolas was at Port Toulouse, Cape Breton in 1752. He arrived at St. Malo, France, on the ship "La Reine d'Espagne" on 17 Nov 1758, with his sons Gabriel & Jean-Baptiste and his daughter Marie (widow of Charles SAMSON.
