Born 1704, a "caboteur" [coastal seaman?], Nicolas married 1st around 1732 to Marguerite BROSSARD; six children. He married 2nd around 1752 to Anne SAMSON (no parents listed); four children. And 3rd time at St. Servan of St. Malo on 8 Jan 1760 to Euphrosine LABAUVE (widow of Jacques CONVENANCE). Nicolas was at Port Toulouse, Cape Breton in 1752.
