Possible Parentage
It is likely that Nicholas Connelly of Jefferson County, Georgia was a son of Capt. Patrick Connelly (1754-1801) also of Jefferson County, Georgia and Mary Cavannah. Additional research is needed to prove this suspected relationship.

Guardian Bond
- Georgia, Jefferson County
- Know all men by these presents, that we Littleberry Bostick Junr., William P. Hardwick & John Bostick are held and firmly bound unto their Honours, the Judges of the Court of Ordinary for said County, and their successors in office, in the Just and full sum of Ten thousand dollars, for the payment of which sum to the said Judges and their successors in office, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, Jointly and Severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals, and dated this fourteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.
- The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said Litteberry Bostick Junr., is this day appointed Guardian to William H. Connelly, orphan of N. Connelly, now if the said L.B. Bostick Junr. do well and truly demean himself as Guardian aforesaid, agreeable to law in such case made and provided, the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
