Present-day family historians are placing this "Nicati Floyd" in this family, without any family records, because she is present, at 71 years old, in the 1850 census, living with her grand-niece Lavalett (Floyd) Holmes (daughter of Gov. John Floyd), in Burke's Garden near Tazewell, Virginia. She is being placed here until any research reveals a needed change. It's possible that this person could be Letittia Preston Floyd using the nickname "Nicati". After all this is one of her estates where George Frederick and Lavalette (Floyd) Holmes are living in 1850. The problem is that Lettitia is already on the census in 1850 - at the Sweet Springs home of her daughter. Perhaps it is a mistake?
