Smith, Nephi Lot, Bishop of the Miami Ward, St. Joseph Stake, Ariz., from 1926 to 1930, was born May 15, 1889, in Tuba, Arizona, a son of Lot Smith and Diantha Mortensen. He was baptized in May, 1897, filled a mission to the Southern States in 1910-1913, and was ordained a High Priest and Bishop Nov. 20, 1926, by Melvin J. Ballard.
