"Nathaniel3 Wooster (Sylvester,2 Edward1), of Oxford, born about 1709, died in 1779. He married Margaret Kirby [Her identity is proved by probate records and by deeds to Plumb lands in Milford. In Seymour Past and Present, p. 604, she is erroneously called Margaret Harger] who died about 1780, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Plumb). In his will, dated 13 Jan. 1779 and proved in May 1779, Nathaniel Wooster named his wife Margit, his sons Samuel and Abel, and his daughters Susannah Davis (and her child Susannah Pattah), Lois Perkins, and Ester Gordon. The estate was insolvent, Reuben Perkins, Wm. Gordon, and John Cornish being among the creditors. The estate of Margaret Wooster was distributed in 1780 to Samll, Abel, and Sylvester Wooster, Hester Gordon, Susannah Cornish, and Lois Perkins. In May 1747 he was convicted, with Samuel Weed and Daniel Tucker, of 'counterfeiting the bills of publick credit in this Colony,' the penalty being corporal punishment and the forfeiture of his entire estate."
