"44. Abraham (3) (Wooster), b. about 1702. (His name is omitted in [his father's] probate list, presumably through an oversight. His parentage, though not conclusively proved, is indicated by several deeds. On 16 March 1731 Moses, Abraham, and Nathaniel Wooster of Derby conveyed undivided land, of which Moses owned a two-seventh share, Abraham a one-seventh share, and Nathaniel a one seventh share ( Derby Deeds, Vol. 4, p 36). On 16 July 1743 Abraham Wooster Sr. of Derby conveyed to Abraham Wooster Jr. of said Derby now resident in Stratford land at Quaker Farms (Oxford) 'laid out on ye list of Silvester Wooster late of said Derby Deceased' (Derby Deeds, vol. 5 p. 52). On 18 Jan. 1748 Abraham Wooster of Waterbury conveyed land at Quaker Farms 'Laid out in ye right of Silvester Wooster Deceased and was Samuel Woosters Deceased his part of said land and bought by me of said Wooster' (Derby Deeds, Vol. 5, p. 422)."
