The summary of probate records in Manwaring reports that in the distribution of Nathaniel's estate (he died intestate) "1/3 part ... to Dorcas Wetmore, widow, ... for the term of her natural life, and all the rest ... to Easter Wetmore, daughter and only child (emphasis added) of said deceased." Wetmore [4] also reports two sons for Nathaniel, Thomas and Moses. Moses has been found, through baptismal records, to be a son of Nathaniel's brother Samuel. No further record of Thomas has been found. Therefore Thomas and Moses should NOT appear as sons of Nathaniel.
