Lynn 5 Jun 1701 Margaret Laughton, m. (3) 17 Dec 1716 Elizabeth "Hains (or Hinds?)". [Note: Source:Mitchell, Nahum. History of the Early Settlement of Bridgewater, in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, Including an Extensive Family Register, p. 138, also says he m. (1) Mary ---, no children, as this source does. However the marriage to Margaret is just about as he comes of age leaving no time for an earlier marriage, the lack of date and maiden name show there is no marriage record, and no children. So presume this is an error resulting from misinterpreting some form of Margaret, perhaps Marg., as Mary.]
