  4.   The baptism found in MD, "Records of the First Parish in Brewster, Formerly the First Parish in Harwich, Mass.", p. 7:147: "John Seerss Nathan ... baptized, July 5. 1741" is probably actually Judah's son Nathan, a fairly obvious misrecording. Based on this misrecording, May does not list a baptism for Judah's son Nathan, and adds a son Nathan to John's family (p. 77) who "d. young". But he also includes in John's family, "John Seerss Rebekka baptized, May 3. 1741", which conflicts badly with any such Nathan and so, is strong evidence this is a misrecording.
