  3.   Source:May, Samuel Pearce. Descendants of Richard Sares (Sears) of Yarmouth, Mass., 1638-1888, p. 76, lists as children of Judah and Mary: Elizabeth bp 8 Jul 1752, and Alice m. 1769 Chas. Church. Then on p. 77, he gives an abstract of the will of Judah, which mentions only Alice Church wife of Charles Church but no daughter Elizabeth. On MD, p. 10:130, the transcription of Harwich Church records shows the baptism "July ye 5. Baptized Elce ye Daughter of Judah Seers". It was common to spell Alice with an E, and this baptism is for Alice, not Elizabeth, as May obviously misinterpreted it. There doesn't not appears to have been any daughter Elizabeth.
