Nathan Birdsall, bp. St Andrew, Norwich, 3 September 1620; on 16 February 1654[/5| "Nathan Birdsall of Salem" sold to Henry Cooke of Salem five acres of land in Salem [ELR 1:26]; probably the Nathan Birdsall who was granted land at Easthampton on 5 July 1653 [Easthampton TR 1:37], and who later resided at Oyster Bay, where he had a son Henry (Oyster Bay TR 1:684] and a granddaughter Judith. … Nathan is said to have resided at New Haven. A "Nathan Burchall" appeared in New Haven records from late 1643 until early 1645 (NHCR 1:109,120,139,152). This may or may not have been Nathan Birdsall, son of Henry.
