Nancy's maiden name was originally taken from her daughter Jennie's Social Security Application which shows 'Murston. Later research of census records shows her name to be Thurston, not Murston. Her daughter, Jennie Jackson Wiltse's obituary mentions that Jennie was the daughter of Andrew and Nancy (Thurston) Jackson.
