Nancy was the daughter of John and Eliza Redenbaugh. She was married to Nicholas Clark who was born in West Virginia. At an early age he moved to Lawrence, Kansas, with his parents and after the early death of the father, assumed the care of his mother and seven younger brothers and sisters. He was a farmer all of his life. He and Nancy are buried in the Moline, Kansas, Cemetery.
