Anna (Nancy) McDonald, born 28 May 1771 in Fauquier County, Virginia, was the third of eleven children and the first daughter of Jared and Eleanor (Atchinson) McDonald. Jared McDonald was born about 1740 in Scotland, died in 1808 in Upperville, Virginia, and is buried in Goose Creek Church Cemetery, Upperville, Virginia.
