    I have good proofs that Rebecca Lowther is the daughter (b. abt 1744) to Robert Lowther and Aquilla Reese. I am trying to establish proofs for her husbands and children.

    I believe she first married Charles Washburn in 1772 in VA.Charles was killed by Indians in Harrison Co (W)Va in 1782.She may have they married a man named Carder after the death of Charles.

    Nancy Rebecca Lowther, a daughter of Robert and Aquilla (Reese) Lowther, was born 1744 in Albemarle County VA. She married Charles Washburn. He was born in 1744 and died in Hardy County, VA.

    Nancy married William Henry M. Carder in 1784 in Harrison County VA. William, a son of William Henry M. and Sarah Carder, was born May 19, 1762 in Culpepper County VA and died November 13, 1839 in Harrison County VA.
