death notice from a Coffey Co., KS, newspaper: Mrs Stella Gasche's / Cousin Is Dead / Mrs Stella Gasche [dau. of Lydia E. Love Massey] has received word that her cousin, Mrs Charlie Gerdsen passed away Saturday evening, October 9, 1948 at her home in LaHarpe.* The funeral will be held today at 2:30 o'clock and burial will be at Moran. Mrs Gerdsen was 61 years of age, and had spent most of her life at LaHarpe. She had visited Mrs Gasche in Burlington many times. Mrs Gasche and Mr and Mrs John Hawkins are attending the funeral.
