Wardwell Family Cemetery (Town of Ledyard) #97 

Located about 1200 feet north of the road on the Harold Giles Farm. Plot is 30' x 30' , enclosed by a woven wire fence in good condition. There is no gate in the fence , which is supported by eight limestone posts , said to be mowed once a year by someone from Auburn. A large monument 8' tall has the following inscriptions:

Living in Fayette, NY at 1850 census. In Ledyard at 1860 census with real estate valued at $4000. Living in Ledyard at 1870 (Farm valued at $6000 and Personal Assets $2500) and 1880 census with 12 year old stepson Albert Lockwood.
